I am Professor of Education at the Sydney School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney, Australia. I have worked in education for the past 30 years, as a classroom teacher, school leader and education consultant in Government and non-Government sectors, and most recently as a teacher educator and educational researcher. My research interests are in education policy, teacher professional learning, and curriculum and pedagogy.
This website is maintained as a way of sharing my work with teachers, prospective research students, and the broader education community. It contains as much of my published work as I am able to make freely available, along with a range of other resources that I hope might be useful. It also includes a collection of opinion pieces and media articles I’ve written and/or contributed to over the years.
